Leap of Faith grew from a hobby and through encouragement from family and friends, became official in July 2022.  I had a sewing machine stashed away, having only made the odd cushion. However, during lockdown and some time away from teaching, I decided to dust the machine off and start sewing! I started with hair accessories using different fabrics, moving on to keyrings, lanyards, dog collars and the list continues. 

 

Most, to date, have been made with Isle of Skye Tartan.  However, I have experimented with wood and others fabrics at local craft fayres.  I have had the opportunity of making wedding favours for a couple of family weddings . I've been branching out lately and have made gifts for housewarmings, birthdays, hen do's and gifts for mum and baby! I can personalise certains items too. 

 

I have been busy with teaching and just family life in general and have not been able to commit to Leap of Faith as much as I would like to but I'm still finding some time! My family have been hugely supportive and without them, wouldn't have taken the Leap of Faith. Thank you to all that have purchased from Leap of Faith. I look forward to seeing where the journey takes me.
